Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo lined up for new Premier League job by agent Jorge Mendes after failed Arsenal talks

Jorge Mendes is on the hunt for a new Premier League club for Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
The agent, whose stable includes Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, has his sights on securing his client a new job in the English top flight after his impressive spell at Molineux.

Reports in the Sun also claim Mendes was in talks with Arsenal over a potential switch for Nuno when Mikel Arteta was under pressure at the Emirates.
However, Arteta has stabilised things in north London and appears to have Arsenal back on the right track.
Nuno, who put-to-paper on a contract extension with Wolves last September until 2023, is understood to want to remain in England.
LaLiga is also an option for him, though, having worked with Valencia in the 2014/15 campaign.

Nuno is content where he is right now, but Mendes has his eye on landing his client a more prestigious role in the near future after a meteoric rise in management.
Nuno was recommended for the Manchester United job in December 2018 following Jose Mourinho’s sacking.
However, the Red Devils hierarchy opted to appoint club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a superb stint as caretaker boss – and he earlier this week guided United into Premier League top spot.
