Lucas Piazon leaves Chelsea after ten years, having made just one Premier League appearance where he missed a penalty

Chelsea’s ‘longest-serving’ player Lucas Piazon has left the Blues after a thoroughly uneventful ten years at the club.
The Brazilian, 26, has joined Braga, with whom he’s signed a four-year contract.

Piazon’s services were secured by the Blues in early 2011, signing from Sao Paulo in his homeland.
The attacking midfielder won Chelsea‘s young player of the year award in 2011/12 but rarely got first-team opportunities, playing in two League Cup ties and one Premier League match for them.
His only Premier League appearance did not go to plan, either.
Piazon provided an assist against Aston Villa in December 2012 but had a penalty saved. It mattered not as Chelsea won 8-0, meaning Piazon must be up there with the highest win rate of any Blues player.

He went on loan to SEVEN different clubs in his decade at Stamford Bridge, including spells at Reading and Fulham.
Piazon played for Malaga in Spain before stints with Vitesse in the Netherlands and German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The spells with Reading and Fulham were followed by time at Chievo in Italy and Portuguese side Rio Ave.
Piazon will now settle in Portugal, having signed a deal with Braga that runs until at least 2025.
