And Liverpool ensured they moved level on points with Premier League leaders Tottenham with two first-half goals and a late Roberto Firmino header.
Former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans inadvertently headed in Andy Robertson’s corner, before the left-back assisted Diogo Jota for his seventh goal in a Reds shirt.
Firmino scored just his third goal in 24 Premier League games with a header late on.
