Alisson, Liverpool’s current No.1, wore a replica of Clemence’s shirt from the club’s 1981 European Cup final triumph.
He appeared next to other Liverpool goalkeepers Adrian, Caoimhin Kelleher and goalkeeping coach John Achterberg.
A wreath was also laid for Clemence as both Liverpool and Leicester players took part in a minute’s applause before kick-off.

Glenn Hoddle had nothing but praise for his former Tottenham teammate when speaking to talkSPORT 2.
He said: “A lot of people could have finished with Liverpool and just stood back and admired what they’d done and rest on their laurels – but not Ray.
“He wanted the challenge of coming to Tottenham and winning things with a different club, and he certainly did. He was a massive part of us during the 80s and a massive reason why we did what we did and were successful.
“Of all the seven years playing with Clem, I don’t think I heard him once talk about his successes at Liverpool.

“He never used that in training, or the dressing room or when we didn’t play well. He didn’t say, ‘well I’ve won European Cups here or there’. He never once said that, which I thought was wonderful.
“He was about the present and the future, and his desire to be successful. I learned a lot from that and it was a wonderful example of being humble and also professional.”
“On and off the pitch he was a fabulous guy, he really was. A fabulous goalkeeper and we are all so, so sad for his loss.”
