Evander Holyfield predicts Mike Tyson trilogy would bank £73million as talks over long-awaited fight progress

Evander Holyfield thinks a trilogy fight with Mike Tyson would make around £73million ($100m).
The boxing icons are in talks over a third clash, with Holyfield claiming earlier this month that a deal is close.

The two heavyweight legends met twice during their prime during the 1990s, with their second bout going down in infamy.
After stopping Tyson to win the WBA heavyweight crown in their first meeting in 1996, Holyfield then had part of his ear bitten off by ‘Iron Mike’ in the rematch seven months later.
However, some 24 years after their last fight, they could finally resume their rivalry.
Having watched Tyson make a return to the ring at the age of 54 against Roy Jones Jr, ‘The Real Deal’ wants to make a comeback himself.

The 58-year-old last fought in 2011 when he stopped Brian Nielsen in the tenth round of their heavyweight bout in Copenhagen.
Holyfield posted videos on social media last year showing himself back in training ahead of a possible comeback.
And he’s predicting it could be very lucrative for them both should a deal be reached.
Evander Holyfield has also been back in training ahead of a possible comeback
He told the Last Stand Podcast: “I think it will be a lot of money and a lot of millions.
“I think, a hundred million [dollars] . The fight would be big because so many people want the fight.
“The only thing that I hear people talking about [is] they want to Tyson and myself. And you know, this is what the world want to see.
“But you’re not in that situation, so you have to want to do it. So, I guess we have to come together and do it.”
